Even during lunch time when all of us getting out of the office, we'll have to wait right outside for a few minutes just to decide where to have our lunch. And none of them are actually deciding. Instead, they are waiting. Waiting for someone to voice out, to suggest a place to eat. And each time I ask any of them where to have our lunch, they'll throw that question to another person or just simply answered me :"I follow majority!"
Don't make me furious! Talk!And lately I find it same when they are working. I hate that! During meeting, I can never ask anyone for any opinion. Obviously they are afraid of taking responsible for what they have suggested. So each time I ask for suggestion or opinion, they would keep quiet and wait for others to speak out first. Worse still, they'll joke around as if once they opened their mouth they are contributing ideas. Bullshit! Why can't those people be serious and really contribute to make whatever things that we're working on a huge success?!
Sometime I seriously don't understand what the people are thinking. I thought when we all put efforts, then only the success is guaranteed. Don't they learned that unity creates greater power and strength?
I know. They are afraid. Afraid to make mistake. They want to make sure that if there's anything happened, they'll not be the one to be blamed. That's why they don't make decision. They don't speak their thoughts. Even though they know something was wrong, They won't point it out. Even though there're some better ideas, they just keep quiet. Such a whole bunch of sickening cowards!!
Are you gonna contribute or not?Somehow I realize that it's this KL working lifestyle has shaped them into this kind of person. They're just trying to protect themselves. Too many evil and shameless a$$hole around in and out of the organization causing chaos in this hard, dog-eats-dog world. Anyway, that's not excusable! Don't care how you protect yourselves, keeping quiet doesn't help at all! I am gonna make them speaks. If not, they better follow whatever suggested without any complaint or blames regardless the plan is a success or a failure.

I know exactly where you are coming from. It bugs me too when my friends do that.. But sometimes, we have to make that decision. Otherwise, no one will.
actually this always happens to me, when everybody choose to play safely then all eyes is on me, and i hate to be in this situation cause i was like, why of all people, im the one who will decide where we gonna have the lunch. that is why sometimes i like to do my own thing alone. lol. actually these days i discovered that i am skipping lunch, cause of dieting concern, silly me. but i dont think its effective cause at dinner time, i eat like its the end of the world.
Decision decision. When i go out with schoolmate last time, always said anything or follow u all le. Why cant voice out once?
they got too comfy by slacking away at anything. either they're smart n cunning or plain lazy. eat oso wana play safe? lolx... next time, don't tell n drive them to the plains. now go eat grass. kakaka... personally I felt the way you're treated, shows disrespectful to authority during meetings. another sign is selfishness. no teamwork. no sharing. left unattended, this is contagious as a whole.
Lucky you actually that nobody has really opinions. Then you can decide everything. On the contrary to where I work, this colleague of mine has always other opinions. She rejects all my ideas all the time at the beginning. Later she finds them good and she apologizes. Gradually I find her very irritating. I find her a control-freak. Everything must goes her way. Too bad I don't work at your company. Otherwise, I would have uttered my thoughts all the time ... ;)))) But then, you wouldn't like me anymore ... hahahaha.
I hate that especially where to eat question. They don't speak but they dare to say no to what was suggested. WTF man...
Same thing goes in classes as well. No one wants to speak up. Hence, we have our country...
